Julie A's Dodge Durango was the feature on the Fox News Chicago Video.  The vehicle was repaired under a contract with a sub standard insurer and its partner repair shop.

Retail Value on the Date of the Loss:  $13,850

Cost of Repair: $5,342.

Repair utilized Used sheet metal and used Air Bags.

Overall very poor repair.  Frame Damage, un-repaired frame damage, poor frame repairs, poor welding and heavy undercoating hiding additional problems.  Poor quality body work, sand scratch shrinkage, poor fit of sheet metal and un-repaired body work.  Poor quality paint, minor and major imperfections in paint, paint on trim, overspray in jams and no paint on underside of components. 

Insurer made offer to buy vehicle shortly after the Fox News Story.
